We had previously seen that in the town of Bicester (pronounced "gruff" - of course) was a major designer outlet. Since we had a car this weekend, we'd swing by. It turned out to be a huge place.
I did not expect that big, maybe a few stores in a warehouse-like building where the clothes lay in stacks and chaos, so we were not quite sure whether the goods were genuine or not. The thought was really put to shame. First of all, the parking lot was absolutely colossal, and it was clear that here there came many people. When we were there on a Saturday, it was virtually impossible to get a parking space, but it succeed after some time quest. We would even share seats with about ten coaches shepherds bush westfield that came with customers from afar. Gad can not lie and fight over the few remaining free slots, you could drive his Audi or Jaguar to "Valet Parking" and so they arranged for a room.
It's called Bicester Outlet Village shepherds bush westfield and the shops are small small wooden buildings in one or two levels, all centered on a long central street. It was quite cozy made, and I could imagine that the summer was even better. There was very clean and nice, and not just dirty as a pedestrian may be it on a normal Saturday.
The main issue is, in reality, if you can make some good buys, and I think it certainly can be done. There were all big brands like Prada, D & G, Dior, Hugo Boss and many more, and the places we were, advertised shepherds bush westfield many times with 50% of the retail price. I came away with a polo for 20 and Julie with a sweater for something close to the same price, respectively, from Fred Perry and Polo Ralph Lauren.
If the ethnic composition of the customers in Bicester Oulet Village, can be an indicator of trends in the world economy, it is very clear that there is economic progress in Asia. It was teeming with Asians, and that was really bought into. Also, to the extent that you immediately think it was too much. The shops are well aware that a large proportion of the customers come from overseas. Several stores had signs written in what I think is Chinese. Here, for example. by Calvin Klein.
